Trust & transparency
Editorial policy
Our standards
Every story should add original reporting, analysis, evidence, or practical value. We identify sources, distinguish facts from opinion, and do not publish rumors as confirmed information.
Testing and reviews
We only describe a product or game as tested when a contributor has used it. Reviews state the relevant test period and conditions. Buying guides can include researched recommendations, but will clearly identify which products were tested directly.
Our shared rules and category-specific procedures are published in How PixelLookout tests.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections are explained on the page. Routine updates are reflected in the modified date. We do not change dates merely to make old content appear new.
Affiliate disclosure
PixelLookout may receive a commission when a reader purchases, installs, or registers through qualifying links. These links are labelled and use the appropriate sponsored relationship. Compensation never guarantees favourable coverage or placement. Read the complete Affiliate Disclosure.
AI-assisted work
Automation may assist with research organization, transcription, or production tasks. A human editor remains responsible for every published claim. We do not use generated text to fabricate hands-on experience, quotes, benchmarks, or reporting.
